Support for Ivy: A Single Mom Battling Hypothyroidism

Dear Friends and Kind-Hearted Supporters,

I’m reaching out on behalf of my cousin, Ivy, a loving and hardworking single mother from Batangas, Philippines, who has been battling hypothyroidism and hypertension for several years. Despite these challenges, Ivy has remained a pillar of strength for her 17-year-old daughter, Sam, whom she has raised on her own since the day Sam was born.

Ivy works tirelessly as a baker at a local bakeshop, earning minimum wage. Every day, she pours her heart into her work to provide for Sam and ensure she has a chance at a brighter future. However, the struggle of managing her health conditions, along with the financial burden of frequent hospital visits and emergency care, has made life incredibly difficult. The expenses have been piling up, and it’s becoming harder for Ivy to keep up with the costs.

On top of her medical bills, Ivy is also trying to cover Sam’s school expenses. As Sam prepares to finish her education, Ivy's greatest wish is to see her daughter succeed without the weight of financial stress holding her back.
